An independent production…
Low Stakes Live! is a completely self-funded production, the result of a group of filmmakers, freelancers, and poker players pooling their resources to create a show at the same caliber as any high-budget broadcast.
Development began in April of 2023. The team assembled the studio in a cramped living room, custom-designed a new way to record player card data, built a full-stack action tracker and created their own on-screen graphics package.
Season 1 launched on November 1st, 2023, and ran for 8 episodes. Forty-nine unique players participated, and the seven winners played in a championship game on December 13th, 2023.
Now, the team is hard at work on updating, improving, and prepping for Season Two, which will launch in early 2024.
